March 2-6, 2026 marks both Open Education Week and UN SDG Action and Awareness Week. In honor of these occasions, BCOEL is co-hosting an online event in collaboration with BCcampus. Dr. Karen Cangialosi will be providing a talk entitled Science Education for a Just and Sustainable World.

The event is free and open to all, but registration is required. It will be recorded for those who are unable to join us in real-time. You can find the registration link on the event page linked above.

BCOEL will also be hosting a watch party at Langara College for those who would like to attend in-person. It will be followed by an informal lunch at the Langara Golf Course clubhouse (pay your own way). Please rsvp to ltripp@langara.ca.
