It will not be a boring summer on the copyright front, that is certain. One comment I can comfortably make right now is that there is probably going to be a deluge of content provider messaging aimed at faculty that is designed to scare them into using various proprietary products. I heard about the first this morning, which contained the phrase: "Using your institution’s fair dealing guideline is no longer an option." Which implies fair dealing itself is no longer an option? C'mon, guys. Anyway, I could see where immediate uncertainties over copyright issues could lead to misplaced uncertainties about OER.
