Hello Everyone, Here is a draft meeting agenda for Jan. 14. Please send any changes/additions you would like to make. Brenda is away this week and I am away after tomorrow (Tuesday). OER Jumpstart Meeting<http://www.carl-abrc.ca/mini-site-page/oer-jumpstart-meeting/> Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 3-5 p.m. Ryerson University Library (and virtually) The Canadian Association of Research Libraries invites academic librarians working in the area of Open Educational Resources to an OER Jumpstart Meeting to be held at Ryerson University Library on January 29th, 2019, just prior to the 2019 OLA Superconference. This event will be an opportunity for this expanding community to meet in person, and to learn about CARL’s new program of activities to strengthen the community of practice of librarians involved in OER, to build leadership capacity across this network, and to bring increased awareness and understanding of OER to academic libraries across the country. Those in attendance will be invited to provide input on CARL’s planned initiatives. La rencontre aura lieu à la bibliothèque de la Ryerson University Library le 29 janvier 2019, avant le début de la OLA Superconference 2019. Elle permettra aux membres de cette communauté en expansion de faire connaissance et sera l’occasion de présenter un programme d’activités que mènera prochainement l’ABRC. Ce programme visera à renforcer la communauté de pratique des bibliothécaires sur les RÉL, à former des leaders à travers ce réseau et à sensibiliser les bibliothécaires aux RÉL afin de de mieux les faire connaître les dans les bibliothèques académiques du pays.
