The Canadian Association of Research Libraries invites academic librarians working in the area of Open Educational Resources to an OER Jumpstart Meeting to be held at Ryerson University Library on January 29th, 2019, just prior to the 2019 OLA Superconference.
This event will be an opportunity for this expanding community to meet in person, and to learn about CARL�s new program of activities to strengthen the community of practice of librarians involved in OER, to build leadership capacity across this network, and to bring increased awareness and understanding of OER to academic libraries across the country. Those in attendance will be invited to provide input on CARL�s planned initiatives.

L�Association des biblioth�ques de recherche du Canada invite les biblioth�caires en milieu acad�mique impliqu�s dans les ressources �ducatives libres (R�L) � assister � une Rencontre de d�marrage. La rencontre aura lieu � la biblioth�que de la Ryerson University Library le 29 janvier 2019, avant le d�but de la OLA Superconference 2019.
Elle permettra aux membres de cette communaut� en expansion de faire connaissance et sera l�occasion de pr�senter un programme d�activit�s que m�nera prochainement l�ABRC. Ce programme visera � renforcer la communaut� de pratique des biblioth�caires sur les R�L, � former des leaders � travers ce r�seau et � sensibiliser les biblioth�caires aux R�L afin de de mieux les faire conna�tre les dans les biblioth�ques acad�miques du pays. Les personnes pr�sentes seront invit�es � donner leur avis sur les initiatives pr�vues par l�ABRC.
