Save the date: OEW event with Autumm Caines (March 4, 11am-12pm)

Hi everyone, I've just locked down a day/time for our Open Education Week event with Brenna Clarke Gray and Autumm Caines. Please save the date for Monday, March 4th from 11am-12pm PST. I'm just waiting on a bio and photo from Autumm for the events page. We should have registration open by tomorrow or Monday. Autumm's blog<https://autumm.edtech.fm/> has a number of widely cited posts about generative AI in the classroom, and how these new technologies are sometimes at odds with the shared values of the open education movement. Brenna and the event planning team will be developing questions for Autumm over the next week; feel free to email me with any burning questions you may have and we'll integrate them into the event. Or, you can save them for the Q&A period during the event 🙂 Thanks! -Lindsay Lindsay Tripp (she/her) Librarian, Copyright & Open Education Langara Library 604.323.5290 100 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 2Z6 Unceded Musqueam Territory [Langara Logo]<https://langara.ca/> ________________________________ Please consider the environment before printing.
