Thanks, Amanda, for finding this.�� There appear to be a variety of ways we may be able to argue/implicate the feds responsibility to OER.

Another potential point to consider with regards to avenues for federal funding - the Roadmap for Open Science��(http://science.gc.ca/eic/site/063.nsf/eng/h_97992.html��and��https://www.canada.ca/en/innovation-science-economic-development/news/2020/02/roadmap-for-open-science-to-reduce-barriers-and-speed-up-discovery.html).�� This came out earlier this week, and makes 10 recommendations. While none of these deal with OER, and the focus is science not all research/post-secondary work more broadly, one could argue that opening up teaching and learning resources about science (and other subject matter) would complement the Road Map recommendations.

P.S. I've gone through the most recent AB budget (from yesterday), and it would appear that Alberta will lose out again on provincial funding for OE.��
