In Newfoundland and Labrador, our libraries sit on the homelands of the Inuit of Nunatsiavut and NunatuKavut, the Innu of Nitassinan, the Beothuk and the Mi’kmaq peoples. In Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, we find our friends and colleagues situated on the territory of the Mi’kmaq. In New Brunswick, libraries are found on the land of the Wəlastəkwiyik, Mi’kmaq, and Passamaquoddy Peoples. We at CAUL-CBUA wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the First Peoples who share their ancestral homelands with us all. I would agree with Jenni- We edited the chapters ( in multiple formats) before putting them into pressbooks for version 1. This year we tried to have the students edit in press books - and it proved to be too difficult at this point in time. We are working on version #2 this year, but this is the link to Version #1. Each student wrote their own chapter and I supported them. I co-wrote the Introductory chapter which has more information.
