CAAL-CBPA Strategic Plan: Goal 6.3 Administer an OER Development Grants Program for educators in the region.

 

The Council of Atlantic Academic Libraries (CAAL) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 AtlanticOER Development Grants (@AtlanticOER).  AtlanticOER Development Grants are intended to encourage and support educators in the Atlantic Region in the adaptation, adoption, creation, and curation of open educational resources (OER), and to increase access to course materials for students.  Each grant is for up to $2,000 and is awarded to individuals, departments, groups, or institutions in the Atlantic Provinces to help achieve the following objectives:

Project: The goal of this project is to enhance the offer of the existing OER used in the Foundations of Entrepreneurship class through the creation of additional resources and supplemental materials.

Project: The goal of this project is to develop a textbook on the biology of cell stress with a focus on how cells respond to environmental issues.

Le Conseil des biblioth��ques postsecondaires de l'Atlantique (CBPA) est heureux d'annoncer les premiers r��cipiendaires des subventions de d��veloppement RELAtlantique 2023 (@AtlanticOER). Les subventions de d��veloppement AtlanticOER visent �� encourager et �� soutenir les ��ducateurs de la r��gion de l'Atlantique dans l'adaptation, l'adoption, la cr��ation et la conservation de ressources ��ducatives libres (REL), et �� accro��tre l'acc��s au mat��riel de cours pour les ��tudiants. Chaque subvention est d'un montant maximal de 2000 $ et est accord��e �� des particuliers, des minist��res, des groupes ou des institutions des provinces de l'Atlantique pour aider �� atteindre les objectifs suivants:

CAAL-CBPA represents member libraries across the region, all of whom sit on the unceded and traditional territories of First Peoples.  In Newfoundland and Labrador, our libraries sit on the homelands of the Inuit of Nunatsiavut and NunatuKavut, the Innu of Nitassinan, the Beothuk and the Mi���kmaq peoples.  In Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, we find our friends and colleagues situated on the territory of the Mi���kmaq.  In New Brunswick, libraries are found on the land of the W��last��kwiyik, Mi���kmaq, and Passamaquoddy Peoples.  We at CAAL-CBPA wish to express our sincerest gratitude to the First Peoples who share their ancestral homelands with us all.
