Open Education Week celebration at BCIT

Dear fellow Open educators, Open Education Week<https://oeweek.oeglobal.org/pages/about/> celebrates the worldwide achievements in Open Education. This year, this international event takes place March 6 to 10. There are lots of events happening during that week and I hope you can take some time to attend some, either virtually or in person. Check out BCcampus calendar of events<https://bccampus.ca/events/> for information on what will be happening around town that week. The celebration of Open Education Week will kick-off in style at BCIT. Open Educator and recipient of the 2021 Teaching Excellence in Open Education, Employee Excellence Award, Julia Alards-Tomalin will present The collaborative creation of Buds, Branches and Bark: a Guide to Winter Identification in the Pacific Northwest<https://bcit.libcal.com/event/3718608>, a BCIT OER textbook at Food For Thought on Monday, March 6, at 12:30, in the Summit Centre, Library. This is an in-person event with a light lunch provided. Hope to see some of you there!
