Hi all, Thank you for the invitation to join your meeting today to discuss the B.C. Open Collection! This place is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. I am also grateful for the time I’ve spent on unceded lands of the Lkwungen-speaking Peoples and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples, where I completed post-secondary education and started my work in open education. As well I am also grateful for the time I spent on unceded Tsimshian lands, where I grew up, and Treaty 6 territory, where much of my extended family lives.
